The day is coming when players are going to be attacked on the field by a fan. Football does weird things to people.

I hardly watch football anymore. Cannot stand the way they treat the Ref and the blatant cheating by diving ( that has improved though). Most players should watch a rugby game and see what the body can take without rolling around on the groud like they have been hit by a tank when the guy has just brushed him. Refs should be treated like rugby Refs. Their decision is final and only the captain can talk to the Ref. Umpires decision in cricket is final as well unless DRS is used.

100% Craig
The problem with professional football nowadays is win at all cost
The managers get paid millions a year and if their team are not achieving the results they get the sack.
So they tell their players to go out there and get the ref to award you free kicks etc etc and by rolling around the refs get conned,
Saturday was a prime example. Liverpool were swarming all over United in the last 15 minutes when the United player Smalling fell to the ground. The ref stopped the match thinking that he was injured. Once the game got stopped Smalling was back up on his feet without any trainer coming onto the field to see if he was ok. This action stopped the flow and United were then able to set up again. It’s all about money which is spoiling the game

And if that did not happen Liverpool should have gone on to win they game.
