i thought they qualified for the CL and not Europa League.

Not good enough in the league last season. The nly chance we had was if we had won the Europa last season, but lost in the final

result of the last 7 league matches last season

lost at Everton
lost at Wolves
lost at Leicester
beat Watford
lost at home to Palace
drew at home with Brighton
beat Burnley

finished 1 point behind Spurs

then come thumped by Chelsea in the Europa League Final which was a way in.

This season its already panning out like last season. Awful defending, awful tactics and substitutions which have most scratching their heads.
