To add insult to injury the Wolves manager got booked for protesting then 5 minutes after the match received an apology from VAR for not giving the penalty. The VAR official lives in Lancashire. Work that one out

Apparently quite blatant VAR mistake in not awarding Wolves a penalty; what would worry me more if I had been in charge of Man U, is that they were outplayed by a seemingly 'nothing' club - only when Erikson came on did Man U sort of hold their own in the mid-field - as a supporter I can only hope that things get better

Neymar reportedly requested a 25-room mansion, a swimming pool and sauna, eight workers to keep his house tidy, nine cars and all expenses paid for travel, restaurants and hotels when he signed for a Saudi Pro League side.

Forest’s Johnson to Chelsea?

Keeper de Gea’s move to Bayern Munich is off, for now.

Man City have paid £1m to sign a 14-year-old from Leicester.

Two weeks into the new season and more corruption. How did the ref and VAR not give Man United a penalty yesterday for that handball.

Republic of Ireland and Brighton striker Evan Ferguson, 18, is currently valued by Brighton at £100m.

Man U are keen to sign yet another goalkeeper before the transfer deadline.

England women's coach Sarina Wiegman will be in the frame to become the Netherlands men's national coach when the post becomes available.

I have gone completely off watching the PL due to the officials. The Arsenal player that was yellow carded for time wasting from a throw in had the ball in in hands for 8 seconds less than the guy who first wanted to take the throw in. These refs are really poor and have no common sense. I was shocked that he gave Arsenal a penalty which could have been overturned due to an Arsenal player blocking a Palace player on the lead up to the penalty. From now on it’s just Italian football for me and also German football when Harry Kane plays as there is not a match in the PL that goes by without the ref making it all about himself.

I was going to say that I'd much rather watch rugby but that also has pathetic refereeing...the Owen Farrell issue being the latest in a long list of terrible decisions...going all the way back to Bryce Lawrence and beyond...
