I attended a seminar many years ago where the speaker predicted that it would take 40 years for a change of leadership(ruling party) to take place. His motivation was that the "born frees",children born in or post 1994,that their offspring would have no or very little historical or emotional support towards the ANC and would vote for who the thought best to run the country. He might well be proved right.
