I'm not sure why the bookies are quoting 5/1 on Charming Diamond. Forgive the gelding's last run in Novice Plate when blinkers were applied and now they are removed again. The horse likes 1100m and was behind progressive types like Toosbies and River Radiance who have ultimately scored in class 3. Anything can happen in horse racing but this looks underpriced. Simon Kok is booked to ride and he is in great form.

This is highly competititive class 5 over 1700m. Favorites rarely win these races. Gingerman was unlucky 3 runs back with 57kg and if he can reproduce that run now carrying a low mass of 48kg, appie Noor Nizar should win this race.
Long Shot 13/1

Kranji Race 5
Appie Noor Nizar is booked on Gangman Classic for this class 5 race. Its not an easy contest as there is no horse with form and anything can happen here. Gangman Classic has fair form and if given a good ride should give sight. King's Landing and Super Talent are down n class and they the ones that looks dangerous.

I hope Kranji is not smelling blood today after yesterdays ridiculous results.

Race 7
Top Knight is my banker this morning.
He looks classy and should rip this field apart from off the pace. On paper he should make light work of this class 2 contest considering he lost by a nose to Bold Thruster same distance. The only negative is the mild trial in build up to this race when he came 5th. Be bee ran 3rd in that trial and should not ignored if one goes wide in exotics.
Money is down on Altair but im not sure if he will be able to handle turf.

My idea of a good eachway double today at Kranji is Race 7 Karista and Race 9 Bold Thuster. Not going to get rich but may put some pennies in your pocket for Scottsville.

Win double is just under 18/1 and the place just covers your stake ... 1.43/1
