Happy Valley 17 March

kerris Teetan at 20/1 for the jockeys challenge looks good valley. With all of Purton, Moreira and Ho featuring in the betting in each race there should not be any outright dominant jockey. Moreira most likely to take the honors but odds on not for me. I also wasted R10 on the following bet as I rate this lighty ...
Hong Kong
HAPPY VALLEY JOCKEY CHALLENGE
RACE 1
Fixed - Win
17 March 2021 15:45
12 R MAIA (17 MARCH)
Price
350
Stake: 10
Potential Payout: 3500
Only has 4 rides but if he sneaks two wins and a place .... could just about get in

Race 2 H Z Tourbillon was backed from 36-1 into 13-1 just before the off and wins.
Luckily there are no bookies in HK,just a tote,as many would be out of business as the late money is very often right.
Oh and I must mention the 2nd horse at 5-10 was ridden by none other than mullet Purton.

Another winner smacked from 9-2 to 17-10 just before the off.
Now these are trainers who know exactly the condition of their horses and know when to have a bet.
HK trainers seem to know their horses so much better than our locals but then again they can have confidence in the way the horse will be ridden.
Not sure there is any bad jockeys riding there these days because the rubbish don't last as the stipes don't accept crap rides and the jockey club won't renew your license.
You do your job properly or bugger off.

You get the inside draw and you keep the horse on the rail until you get to the final bend and you finish the race 6 wide??? Sometimes you have to wonder what their thinking is.
