yet another glorious day in Scotland. I expect that it will rain once the athletics start just to piss us all off.

Following surgery Bolt is hoping that he will be running in the 4x100 only.

For the Olympics, Hollywood was very generous with their 6/10 for Bolt in the 100m. Mmmmmm not so much this time :-).

For the 100m the fav is Ashmeade at 7/10, who? But how abt 9/2 Nesta Carter? No? Then what about 25/1 for the likeable Englishman Gemili?

For the 200m the price for the favourite,Weir, is even skinnier at 12/100!

Chad le Clos 8 to 1 in the 50m Butterfly final tonight - he was a close second in the semis behind the favourite and had to take an extra stroke at the finish.

He has obviously performed best over further but 8 to 1 seems a nice price.

there are going to be a few world records broken on the track at Hampden as its a hard, fast track. Just hope that the rain stays away.

Everytime their is a maul or a scrum the groundsman at Ibrox must cringe as the pitch is going to be churned up especially if it now starts raining. Rangers must be hoping that this is not the case as its a huge season for them.
