Super Rugby 2018

Huge year as the country winning this years cup will be helping themselves to a huge injection of confidence for next years WC in Japan.

Australia have gotten rid of the Force which is going to prove a huge mistake as that part of Australia love their rugby and by not having a team to follow in the area will be detrimental to the young guys who play and watch rugby. Australia had better give Perth at least one possibly two tests a year from now on.

Cant see any of their teams doing well and challenging for the title although the Reds cant be as bad as they have been of late.

Any of the five teams from NZ can win the title. My favourite NZ side, The Blues will start the season well but will fade again. Highlanders, Hurricanes and Crusaders all will be there in the play offs and i believe that the Chiefs will be the top side in NZ this season which leads me to the final where they will play against the Stormers. The Stormers record against the Chiefs in knock out rugby is poor but 3rd time lucky this year.

The Bulls and the Lions will put up their usual fight with the Lions reaching the latter end of the tournament. I hold absolute no hope for the no hopers aka The Sharks. Their season will all be but over by the time they come up against the Stormer on April 21st.

The Sunwolves and the Jaguares will have improved and will get better but between them they can only win maybe 5 matches at most.

Really looking forward to kick off which is just over a week away when the Stormers host the Jagueres.

Stormers v Jaguares this will be pretty basic for the mighty Stormers

Lions v Sharks. Lions will run them into the lush Ellis Park turf

A good source has informed me that the stormes have put on offer to all unions for any help possible as they are utterly clueless.... Tbh, they did not stipulate whether it was the unions or the fans, all they did mention was that the sharks were the team the would love to emulate this season.......

Stormers -8.5 against the jaguares , surely the jaguares ate not that bad lol
Lions -8.5 against the sharks , Fire the sharks on handicap
Highlander -6.5 against the blues , Fire the highlander on handicap
Rebels -4.5 against the reds , Fire the reds on handicap
Brumbies will win
Crusaders-7.5 against the chiefs, Crusaders are slow starters , Fire the Chiefs
Hurricanes -13.5 against the bulls- no bet advised

Some very interesting stats , Stormers have played Jaguares twice and beat them by 7 and 2 points respectively , think this could be the upset game of the 1st round
Lions will be tough to beat with Whitley back , Shark starting with a few new players and it will be interesting to see how they go at this level

the only upset what will occur is your tummy. Once you see the new look Stormers put on 40 points you will start crapping yourself for April 21 when the Stormers come visiting to Durban town.
