Very sad. He was on the verge of a new venture and was setting up shop in PE. Condolences to the family.

R.I.P - I will always remember him fondly with regards to the top sprinter SLIGO BAY who he brought up to the Highveld in the 90's when Kimberley racing was regarded as a hole to send lame slow horses to end their days. He was a top horseman that perhaps should have moved to the Vaal years ago - He was a master of the PA bet and always had time to speak to the Media.
