Petrol price

It is coming to that time of the month when the next petrol price adjustment effective the start of the first Wednesday of next month will be announced. I thought it might be fun for us to forecast the net increase or decrease and see who gets closest. No prizes, just bragging rights.

For reference around 59% of the petrol price is said to reflect the underlying oil price. The rand price of a barrel of brent this time last month was R 929 and today R 890 but obviously a moving target.

So my guess is DOWN by 30 cents a litre. Wishful thinking ?

They were talking about a 60 cent drop earlier in the month. Lets hope.

Well it went up with 73c, then 28c within the space of 2 months. Based on their greed, i think it will drop 27c/L so they still pocket 74c, lol.
