Warhorse

Sorry to start this as a new thread ... I know there's already a Warhorse thread somewhere but I can't find it. Those of you that were watching the Jubilee celebrations yesterday may have seen this ... if not you may enjoy this snippet:

That was superb ...designed and built in SA...

Had the privelege of watching this movie last night: Ive watched them all (The Cup, Secretariat, Sea biscuit etc), but as a horse lover, this is by far my favourite film off all time.

Press, where did you see it? On TV? Or did you hire it? I want to see the whole movie if I can get hold of it. Btw, there was a feature on TV a couple of weeks ago about how it was made ... unfortunately I only spotted it halfway through ... but I watched the rest of the program and was enthralled.

I hired the dvd last weekend..
Fantastic movie.. The dvd has been out for a while now.

Its ok Box Office at the moment - but also on DVD... A must watch! (tu)

The part where the horse runs into the wire and gets stuck. Amazing cinematography

Tried to act all butch (DONT CRY! DONT CRY!) while watching this movie - failed dismally...
