Why advertise?

Trainers have been advertising horses for sale. Shares in horses....on this site. I have contacted 4 of these trainers recently. It is now more than 2 weeks in some cases. No reply... How do these guys communicate with their owners if they don't even reply to an e-mail responding to their advertisement.
On the one side I must thank my lucky stars, what would have happened if I got into the stable....frustration upon frustration...
I wonder why do they advertise, do they only want their names to be seen?

To those trainers? keep your horses/shares I don't wannit!!!

When I first got into the game, I called 8 trainers to help me purchase a horse. Only 2 called me back after my messages! Now 6 horses later I am still with those 2 trainers...
