SEVENTH ROCK

Had my doubts about this guys potential (saw him win on debut looking as fat as the Xmas pig) He seemed to hang in races and i was not sure if he would train on without being gelded- now i have to stand back in awe!!! looks like Mr Jooste has bought a potential sprint sire for about R5m !! Blinkers have done the trick and i really do hope he can become the sprint sire that we need(i do realise that there are some new sires that are looking good) but we do need another Argosy, Dominion royale, Golden thatch, Harry hotspur etc to allow a quick return on investment and with his build he could be the one- (before anyone gets the wrong idea i have never met Jooste and have no intrest in promoting the man and do think Nodoubt Deja is a total brass but i do have an intrest in trying to buy horses that will win at two)

good win yesterday, bit early to name him a sprinting sire but if he trains on no reason he shouldnt land up at klawervlei. he cost 1 mill aus so expect a 50k starting season fee

He won't be gelded Ap and with his blood he will get mares - If he will actually sire a good horse only time will tell but i for one would have a tilt on a yearling sired by him - You have to actually see this guy - i remember going into the parade ring and thinking - i had an early two-year-old that had some ability - "my god there's a serious race horse under that fat" - result he destroyed that field and that early Juv speed is what i like to recoup on investments before the animal reaches it's classic year

I'm going to root for this guy in future - i like him a great deal and though he must face Mythical i don't care - he has the look of a stallion and so he shall be - imagine the speed you would get if you crossed him to a Mr Eats mare(if there are still any around)

yep but scarce as hens teeth - the guy sired horses(normally grey) that could have been American quarter horses and then fell into a hole after 600m - imagine the added power of this beast coupled with that speed - awsome - i'd back them in every juv sprint!!!
