TAB-ONLINE

My favorite site has been redesigned.Unfortunately by people who do not race!
The actual user section has been reduced from about 1/2 of page to less than 25%.
The "phone us"no.(on their new site) has been out of use for months.
I realise that it is noble to provide employment for the mentally challenged but TAB exceed themselves!

I feel sorry for you Rob and I am aware this has been a burning issue for you for many months or years?
However, I have no idea why you continue to persevere?
Many better options.

Dave, you are right, but how sad that the OFFICIAL SITE is not the BEST option.
It is pathetic beyond belief. It does however tell me a lot about the P board.

Obviously the reason any member of the RA should be concerned by punters gravitating to Bookmakers is that racing stakes depend on turnover so we have to protect our interests - can't say we can solve all the probs but we will get answers at the very least

Cheers Mr H, cant see the second channel being such a big problem?
We have a track camera, just showing parade ring/canter past/ interview, send it via the OB van, in addition use the "International Channel" to transmit to homes, where you also see the SA races plus the UK races, doesnt show Ngong or Sweden, is that where the problem is?
If there is a cost? give us an option or do a survey?
Be pro-active [ not you, Mr H.], its been a burning issue for over a year!

I personally need to see canter pasts and often race from home so i know what you mean - i'd also think punters would like to hear comments from "experts" trackside both locally and internationally(i like to hear the english views before i punt as i do not relie on big ben and spotlight) - often in beeting establishments the sound is turned down until the race begins which is surely a waste of time

Sorry Mr H we were posting same time.
We must also consider a better deal for the "punter" if you consider we are giving him poor quality races and tote based products where he is betting blind.
What is wrong with giving him established markets with proper form and proper prices to let him have a more calculated selection, in doing so a bigger turnover of his money, and a bigger tote take out?
just a thought.
Note! a punter/ owner is normally same person and a winning punter is more likely to buy horses, unless its for a tax benefit?
