Your prayers have been answered!
Was in the Knowles Spar in Pinetown yesterday and came across a two pin adaptor for those continental round plugs. (It is called a "Euro Adaptor" but wouldn't adapt my Rands into Euros- Scotland for ever!) Actually it is a double adaptor with the round socket and the lozenge shaped on it to fit into a 15 amp plug. Cost R17.99
If you cant find one in the outer reaches of Pretoia let me know on 082 452 4785 and I'll post one (some) to you.

Thanks Brian, I am fixed, I just had a general comment on two prong plugs, the ones on cell phone charges and ac adaptors, that hang loose in the conventional plugs and are intermittent and are a nightmare to make contact.

thanks again and a good "plug" for your friendly Spar, in fact went to the Spar in P.E. , JWB was R270/ btl, the one I took from Pretoria cost R210, so I will have to stay in the Capitol for life! and yes I did buy it, as the Pretoria bottle was gone by Friday night.

I'm a J&B (those Italian Jocks) man myself and at R1295 a case from Ultra Liquors means I can get pissed for half the price (Scotland forever!)

Justerini and Brookes is not my cup of tea, even the colour puts me off, but Bells and Famous Grouse I enjoy!
