"Group" RESULTS - 'Afternoon' Tuesday 18th March Workings...

Afternoon.

This afternoon completed, and went as follows.......

The 1st runner we wanted 3.0, and with being around 2.7/72 on arrival, we had a lay at 2.72 max. The price then drifted out to our own price of 3.3 and beyond, so a chance of a 'free' lay for traders and builders. The lay/trade was well beaten after a crazy race to be fair, and so a good result........

The 2nd runner we wanted 2.2, and with drifting to around 3.3 on arrival and not coming down to us at any stage, we all had to avoid the race. The runner went and won, so a nice priced winner (returned 15/8), but more importantly a good leave!.......

The 3rd runner we wanted 3.5, and with drifting alarmingly to around 6.8 on arrival, and not coming back down anywhere near our lay price, race to race players had to avoid the race. The runner went and won, so another nice priced winner (returned 7/2), but more importantly again, another good leave!..............

The 4th runner we wanted 1.6, and with being around 1.73 on arrival and not coming down to our lay price at any stage at all, it was a race to avoid for all. The runner went and won, so another good leave.........

The 5th runner we wanted 2.8, and with being a well supported 2.46 on arrival and getting shorter, we had a lay at around 2.46 max. The lay looked beaten a couple of times, and traded as high as 14.0 in running, but amazingly battled back to win the race! so hats off and the way it goes, but frustrating. Traders easily got their trade back prices in running, so got away with it..........

The 6th runner we wanted 1.7, and with being around 2.2 on arrival and just getting bigger and bigger, we never see our lay price at any stage at all, so all had to avoid the race. The runner went and won a battling finish, so another nice priced winner this afternoon, but more importantly another good leave!..........

The 7th runner we wanted 2.32, and with drifting to very slightly higher and 2.34 on arrival, then dropping down to us and slightly beyond, we had a lay at 2.32 max. The price then drifted out to our own price of 2.62 and slightly beyond, so a chance for traders and builders to have a 'free' lay. The lay/trade fell at the last when looking the sure winner, so hope he's OK, but a bit of luck there financially, and a good result.........

The 8th runner we wanted 2.9, and with being a well supported 2.56 on arrival, we had a lay at around 2.56. The lay was beaten and so a good result.........

The 9th runner was withdrawn, so on to the next runner...

The 10th and final runner we wanted 3.1, and with being that on arrival, we had a lay at 3.1. The price then drifted out to our own price of 3.4 and beyond, so a chance for traders and builders to have a 'free' lay. The lay/trade was beaten and so a good result.........

VERY WELL PLAYED....................(5 from the first 6 (83%) runners went and won - 5 and from the 9 (55.55%) in total (1 nr) - so ultra tough that early period, but very pleased to say we came through it very well and either hit our targets, or broke level, so very very well played guys).

'Rolling' strategy/target players (no 'free' lays for them) won one target..............They started on the 1st runner, and then after missing winners and a little battle, they hit their targets on their 4th lay (the 8th runner)..........That left them with just one potential lay left, so not enough for another strategy/target, so they won one target on the session...

Bank builder strategy/target players started with a 'free' lay on the 1st runner, that bought a tiny profit............They then had their 1st lay (the 4th runner) at 2.46 max, but a poor result see them go behind on the day.............They then had another 'free' lay (the 7th runner) that bought a tiny profit.............They then had their 2nd lay (the 8th runner) at 2.56, and a good result see them win a big chunk back...........They then finished with another 'free' lay (the 10th runner) that bought a tiny profit, so they finished levels...which is a very good result with all those winners.....

Traders either won, or broke level on all their trades, so well played guys..

So a very very tough start with 5 from the first 6 winning, but we dealt with it very well and builders came away levels. Rollers did a fantastic job to get the wages, so well done guys. Have a good evening and speak in the morning...

2.10 Warwick. TAMADOT (2.4)

Our price 6/4 (2.5) and so no bets can be advised at current odds. If we see 2.2 or under, we'll go in for a lay.

2.20 Exeter. MUSIC CELEBRE (3.5)

3.00 Kempton. EMPEROR'S JADE (2.72)

Our price 21/10 (3.1) and so a LAY is the call at current odds. We'd lay up to 2.8 or under. *Traders be aware that despite lightly raced, he has shown a tendency to race up with the pace, and doesn't mind leading in his races*

4.30 Kempton. MISTER NEW YORK (3.05)

Our price 11/5 (3.2) and so no bets can be advised at current odds. If we see 2.9 or under, we'll go in for a lay.

4.40 Warwick. DICKIE LEWIS (2.56)

Our price 9/5 (2.8) and so no bets can be advised at current odds. If we see 2.5 or under, we'll go in for a lay. *Traders be aware that this fella has a tendency to lead in his races*

5.00 Kempton. ROYAL FANTASY (3.0)

Our price 12/5 (3.4) and so a LAY is the call at current odds. We'd lay up to 3.1or under.

All races priced up with non runners taken into account, up until 09:43am.

That's what we have to work around for this afternoon then. A tricky looking session in store, but we do have enough within our armoury to warrant going into battle, so discipline to the maximum and take advantage of any prices that come our way, then we'll hope that value wins the day, as it certainly does over a period of time!. Good luck and speak soon...
