Lets be honest why pay when you can get great advise right here. Here are mine for the day. I am sure more will folow.
Race 1 Fakazi (power combo - Jockey trainer)
Race 2 Dream Wolf (John Nel to make the difference)
Race 3 Hurrivcane Silver - Jederman for back up in PA (Great to see Figgie back could be hungry)
Race 4 Biscay (reason as above)
Race 5 Strike Paradise (Interesting Combo, could this be permanent in future)
Race 6 Tough race - Field - maybe New Vibe if I have to select 1
Race 7 Hamlool
Race 8 Ordinance (hopefull)
Race 9 Logontonews backed up with Nip Tuck
My hard and fast punting rule in SA is always back Karl and Strydom up in PA's and Pick sixes. You will save alot in the long run

Chris, how do you manage it? When I investigated moving to Knysna 3/4 years ago the CNA sometimes got Computaform,if they did it was 2 copies and not all centres, tattersalls had closed, taking TAB with it.
What's it like now. My good mate Rob Knuppe is moving back soon, and I will be down on golf tour in August.Just wondering if racing better treated now?

Hi Rob,
I'm a Sporting Post man myself, Computaform and SP were stocked in CNA in Woodmill Lane, the wife runs the Tobbaconist round the corner and they would send a copy of SP round for us when it came in. Then CNA stopped stocking it and TAB which is now on Grey Street was the only option. Then we know what happened with Sporting Post and I refuse to buy to Computaform so I just use websites now for research and punting. I miss my Sporting Post.
I made contact with Rob K when he was here and we were going to meet for a chat but believe he moved to Hermanus thereafter so will try and hook up if he's coming back.
Must admit, though I love it here, I spent a few days in CPT in Jan and meeting with racing people and people that have helped ABC made me think of moving back into the city one day, maybe next year, tough call to make to be honest.

Rob has put Hermanus house on market and coming back to Knysna.I am sure he would like to share a bottle of wine(2/3 would more like it).He found few people in Knysna who shared his passion.

Please let me know when he gets back in town, also if your August visit allows, a similar exercise could be undertaken, you playing Simola...?

I haven't picked up a club for years but was up at Simola last month and had a tour round, top class, made me wish I'd never packed it in.
