Vaal 24 March

What a pleasure !
10 races, a nice feature and other with lots of ABC interest, Fortune got a few rides, Figgy's back, Kahn, Marcus, Mawing, Strydom, grooms, visiting appy's, value to be gleaned, summer holidays....
Some chores and then we study.

how you can have an easter weekend meeting at the vaal is beyond me plus a grade 2 race as well ...surely it should be at gautengs one and only racetrack turfontein where it is high time that they used both tracks for one meeting as they do at scotsville

Morning,Scotia. Got that move to contend with in 2 days time (not down under just next door), so should be seated and focused by noon.
As you say, looking forward to the day's racing.
I presume you'll be socializing at home ?
Happy punting, we'll compare notes shortly.

Race 1, Read the Stars looks the obvious one but at 9/10 only for multiples. Looking at Listura and Marry Me to make a fist of it.
Race 2, Red Apocalypse at 16/10 a nice price for Scotia.
Race 3, Hope Manna makes an impact with Alimony. The veteran Dutch Hope, if not slow away, will go close.
TBC ...
