Which bookmaker offers the best place bets in the country....

Surely they must all be about the same ? Or no one would punt with them ?

One advantage in SA is that u can take a fixed odds place bet on a horse, you will find the UK based bookies prefer you to take the ew and u have to take the same stake win as a place

Its scary when you compare place prices. Differences are immense.

cant beat MARSHALLS world of sport...when it comes to places...consistently..they better off than most bookies by more than 2 full points and more on a foursome all to come places..sometimes they the same.,but they will be paying 4 places whereas the other bookie would be only paying 3 places on one of the legs...

I see they also so have a lay feature - NOT TO WIN - I'm not sure as I have not used the site for a few weeks but it does seem as though the drag(sooo slow between screens) that I experienced for ages on the site has diminished but i'll confirm later when racing starts

Maybe the poster means how many places does the bookie offer in a race where there are say 20 horses. Some bookies in the UK would offer 5 or sometimes even 6 places opposed to the normal 3 or 4 places
