He might not have been popular with many fans due to the level of the debt his takeover had put on the club , but MU continued to prosper thereafter.
They also won five Premier titles,three League Cups and the Champions League.
With the family owning 90% of the club and two sons being co-chairmen, there should be no significant effect on the ownership of the club.
