SCOTIA ON MONDAY 31ST MARCH.
17 years 2 months ago
Good morning to the CLAN on a back down to earth Monday.
With all the racing and highs and lows over the weekend, its nice to have a break on a "non-race" day?
All I can report is that Sat was better than Sunday, and I am sure you exotic players have a carry over pick 6 to look forward to after Wooden Heart won at 100/1, even "Elvis" the king, would have battled to find this one?
I got the impression over the weekend that our SPAM chaps find themselves in a bit of a "pickle"?
On the subject of pickles, have to tell you this story about another mate [ yes I have 3! ].
I was at the track a few weeks back and my mate tells me that he had secured a job in the pickle factory in Branson, but he had a major problem and that he had this terrible urge to put his penis in the pickle slicer!, I told him he should see a doctor.
He went rather embarrassingly and said "excuse me doctor, but I work in a pickle factory and have this terrible urge to put my private parts in the pickle slicer", the Doc says "oh!, my God man, this is outrageous take these tablets, they should help", a week later, he goes back and says "sorry doc the urge is getting worse and I am desperate", the doc gives him the strongest tablets he has, the following week he goes back and says "sorry Doc, but I did it, I just had to put my cock in the pickle slicer" and the doc says "what happened", he says "I got fired!" and the doc says "and what about the pickle slicer"? and he says "SHE also got dismissed".
Sorry if this offends, please contact the complaints dept on the 45th floor, sorry about the lifts being broken.
On the horse front, racing from the big hole, Lingfield and Wincanton and if you must have a bet, I suggest a "yankee" Percolator, Muslaha, Divers and Morodima, on the subject of yankees, well done to The Duke for winning the competition.
On the subject of winners, well done to ALL the SA connections for a brilliant performance on Sat. night!
Good punting and may your God be with you.

couldn't agree more re Sat night Dave, been away in Australia for last 3 weeks and only got back yesterday so watched races last night, Marcus ride on Jay Peg was superb, such a strong push last 50 yards, looked like 1 leg came out irons as he hit winning post!
Speaking of Aus those boys down under are gambling mad. Pubs everywhere with full TAB racing facilities, 'pokie machines' every where you look. Popped into Crown Casino in Melbourne 1st thing on a weekday morning and place was already busy?! No wonder they don't want to let Betfair into mainland Aus, fat cats there are rolling in it.
Grand National on Saturday, lottery race at times and will always needed to back a handful of runners, Bewleys Berry my own fancy, some big prices about for loads of roughies.

Thanks for input Alan
These Aussies do like a punt!
I took a couple of early bets on the National McKelvey and Snowy Mountain, but I am not very confident?
What I am looking forward to at Aintree is Kauto Star and Master Minded running during the week.
