R2 Nottingham Perceus E/W. Very promising debut in a good race at Newbury and then lost all chance when badly hampered last time (was a short priced favourite). Return to turf should suit and can improve past Arcano Gold (exposed) and Fibre Optic (may need softer ground) to win what looks a three-horse race on form.

Kempton to-night, having a dip on Musaddas at 5/1
with a small cover on Deauville Prince. Fickle Feelings
should do it in the last but too short for me.

R6 Kempton Carnevale - place only. With doubts about a couple of the better fancied runners, this one could easily sneak into the first three in an uncompetitive listed race. 7/4 for a place is a bit too generous.

R6 Kempton (12 November) With Approval E/W. Shaped with promise on his debut (A/W) and again performed well when third in a strong Newbury maiden on soft turf last time (runner up in that race has won well since). Return to the A/W should suit (may not have quite seen it out in the very soft ground at Newbury) and will be hard to keep out of the first three here. 8/1 is far too big in what is only an average maiden.
