SCOTIA ON THE WEEKEND.
17 years 1 month ago
Good morning to the CLAN and looking forward to another busy weekend.
Plenty racing and sport, plus a couple of social functions in between, so here goes!
Soccer, Celtic gave the Gers something to think about the other night, but still feel in Cup and League are in the bag for the Mighty Glasgow Rangers, maybe next year for the Old Jamtarts?
Chelsea also kept hopes alive, but its just mathematics and Man Unt are P.T.P.
The Champions League is the mouth watering event with a couple of dream semi-finals.
After a night with Brent/sportingweb, I have to mention rugby and the Crusaders still look hard to beat, Force can beat the Reds, Sharks might have a problem beating the Brumbies, difficult to back the Bulls against anyone, but will have to take them this weekend, Stormers and Hurricanes, now the draw at 33/1 is not impossible, and the Lions to be eaten alive is a fair reflection.
Again plenty local racing, but we have many experts, so looking at the overseas feast, I have backed Twice Over for the Derby and was happy with its win yesterday.
Its the Scottish Grand National on Sat, but no selection, racing today is at Ayr and Sam Thomas can have a double with Herecomesthetruth and Geeveem. More jumps from Cheltenham where Ruby should win on Elusive Dream, also a meeting at Taunton. The flat is Newbury, where Bouguereau is well fancied and at Thirsk Centenerola should give Martin Dwyer a winner. Last but not least another meeting from Yarmouth.
Back on the subject of ante-post betting, have spoken to the chaps from Interbet and they will load local fields early to allow us to punt early on SA markets rather than just overseas. The current classic examples are the Computerform Sprint and the July, just think Mythical/JJ/7th Rock, what a cracker!
Good punting and may your God be with you

Sorry Cat, must try and do this job full time, rather than a hobbie, are you racing on Sat?

I am going to have a guess 12/10 Mythical, 5/2 Seventh Rock and 4/1 JJ, what do you say?
