The work this man puts into the work riders training is legendary .
Here he is in PE yesterday at a very well attended course

Yes Bob legendary work by James and well done to James. But has you said in the Equus awards thread there is no need to to have an award for outstanding work rider, so all the hard work in vain to see your students get nothing.

Justin Andrews won the award the other week in Capetown

From these courses been given by James we are hoping to start work rider races in the not to distant future. Sure winning work rider will get his award at PE awards evening

I am so pleased to see this thread. James rode my 2nd winner ,Ching Chong , chuckout from Millard, that was July 1975. I have considered him a friend since I rode work at Turffontein in 1970. He was always honest and straight forward with me and rode many winners for me.The work he does with the work riders is extraordinarily. He alone has done more for the underprivileged people who love horses and riding than anyone. I salute you James as a true diamond in racing.
