The Greatest Ever to race in SA??

Definitely my all time favourite, although one could be forgiven if watching in "real time" for thinking he never got up to share however nobody would have wanted to see this champion in the 2nd box..
Give everything but up!

Top commentary by Ernie Duffield without the scraping paint breathing fire and becoming electrified crap that we have become so accustomed to.
And Duff had the courage to give it to Jollify unlike the it's too close to call one hears from local and Uk commentaries.

Politician was a great horse in his own right but trainer Sid Laird made no secret of the fact that Sea Cottage was the best he ever trained...

We have had a few posts over the years and it's always difficult to say who was the best but let's say it was a dead heat with Sea Cottage and Horse Chestnut

There have been many champions but as Dave says its difficult to judge over generations. I concur with him that Sea Cottage and Horse Chestnut are natural choices for obvious reasons.
