This might stop a few betting coups if the rules are stuck to and they don't decide x is as good as Strydom
WEF from Mon, 11 July. In terms of NHA RULE 55.1 , a change of RIDER may only be authorised by the Chief Stipendiary Steward

So Bob, you're saying Striker is a league above other SA jockeys. I don't disagree with you but just wanting to know if this is what you're putting out there.

Don't need jock changes for a coup. Jock changes are befire 9am on raceday.

Strictly by the book, in terms of the rule,the horse then should have been scratched reason no suitable rider.
