Absolutely have no doubt van Vuuren felt horrible for the actual winner and decided, in a show of good will (and no doubt uncle ormie saying he is useful), to buy the horse for a nice price.......

Yes that's a bit of a concern...

Gents that Azzie horse Nordic Storm that was awarded the race can run...it was backed down from 8-1 to around 2-1 the day it won.

Word to the wise, they bought this horse because it easily beat the one they think high off. So it may have a future over distance..

Azzie/Van Vuuren have vastly overpaid for raced horses that have mostly drastically under performed.
