Formgrids - Pedigree of Horses
9 years 1 month ago
Is there anyway of viewing the Horses pedigree without clicking on the horses name itself. I find the pedigree really valuable in finding longshot winners especially in their first 10 runs or if they trying something different with the horse like equipment change, distance, etc.

Thank you Bob but hovering on each horse is time consuming though. Maybe I phrased it incorrectly. If they can show all the runners pedigree below the horses name like most if not all other form guides.

.....I found the same problem.... as I firstly look at pedigree before any other aspects like form etc........it helps to have ARO or Pedigree Query site open while studying an online form guide....

I do usually use Pedigree Query. Any site you recommend for crosses as you mentioned numerous times that the matings with another stallion could have been better. Also now I have come across X-Factor....

Thank you Dave,, we try our best but it's a huge task, way too much to be placed on one man's shoulders,, industry leaders have failed the punter, we have thousands of users who study and bet, the tote as well as others score big time with us providing additional relevant information to its customers,, any racing man who loves the game more than his own pocket would have assisted us and put money into R&D knowing he is doing something good for racing and investing in its future but as we know if they can't bleed they won't support,, unfortunately again the real good people which are out there leave things to those who are in control and seldom rock the boat but I think the capture of SA horseracing will be broken soon, we live and hope...
As for sectional timing I was involved by taking Hendy Schoonbee to Gold Circle because he had a relationship with a company from Argentina that kept the space shuttle in communication with the North American universities, GC formed a company called Sportstrac and the plan was to get this working and expand into Australia, unfortunately i was excluded from becoming a partner and was never in the management meetings although i assisted in trials, Hendy tried to get Phumelela and the RA to do this jointly so all the tracks around the country would be uniform under one system and also to share the initial cost which was in dollars,, we met with RA representive LW but they were not interested,, Hendy then asked me to find a local company which I did and then there was a fallout between Hendy and the local company and that was almost the last I heard,, from the outset it was agreed that Formgrids would get the data from GC and that was my main aim in getting sectional timing into SA racing
