Race 5: Manetheren looks some value for me , ideal distance , paper weight , jock riding well , worth a nibble at 12/1

Treble with Stormborne Thunder, Turf. 4th
Guessing has never been widely acclaimed as a good gambling strategy.

Race 1: Ready to Rumble has the best form but I won’t take odds on in a workriders contest.
Race 2: Elusive Trader is narrowly preferred to Shadowing.
Race 3: Captain Tortuga has been expensive to follow but should get it right today. I will throw in Sacred Night for the upset in a cover perm.
Race 4: Sommersonne should beat Fashion Force but not much between them. Pacifista should improve on fair debut over this trip.
Race 5: Open race with a slight preference for Grand Silvano despite the draw.
Race 6: Another open race with a preference for Clifton Beach.
Race 7: Old man Tevez could do it again, but difficult to rely on him. Olympian, Power Grid and Nasty Harry others to consider.
Race 8. Candice Robinson has a strong hand in a very open race.
We have Romantic Crusade running. Has been disappointing last few, but should be fit now and has come down in the ratings to a competitive mark. Did not seem to act on the soft going but the course should be a bit easier today. If the appie can get her into a good position from a nice draw she is quite capable of upsetting here.
