Did state earlier today after Alpha Centauri won that she could be the next Goldikova. That said she got along way to go.

Correct. There was a filly in the 1990's with the same name. If I am not mistaken she was undefeated as a 2yo in 4 or 5 starts. I think she took on the colts early in her career as well.

Can`t find her 2yo career... But she ran second in the Cape Fillies Guineas behind Hoeberg

.....our local Alpha Centauri filly was a 3 time winner got beat unplaced in her 1st run ...then won 3 in a row.....which included the Langerman against colts....and did indeed run 2nd to Hoeburg to account for one of her 2 placings in 10 runs....the other was a 4th place....nice horse but no star
...... :huh:
