Second fancied horse in the betting to be scratched, what is the reason for the scratching - think the lotto is a safer bet for much less of an outlay
Guessing has never been widely acclaimed as a good gambling strategy.

I have taken a Marcus Yankee
Joseph Barry x Front and Center X Cane Lime n Soda X Nippy Sweetie.
Will be backing each on the head.
You cannot keep a good man down with all the nonsense being said across all social media about Anton.

Race 1 Maitland Magic disappointing last time after good debut, but has the ability to win. Fighter has been inconsistent but nice run last time and is the value at 4/1. Track Attack returns from gelding and although this trip is a bit short, he maybe good enough to beat what looks a pretty average field.
Race 2 Academic Gold reverts to sprinting and can win this on best form. Meet at the George solid form and should fight out the finish. Born to be Queen fair debut and should improve on that. Innogen can earn.
Race 3. Erik the Red is the obvious horse to beat but no value at odds on. Joseph Barry and Purple Cloud can both improve to challenge. First timers could be anything.
Race 4. Delta Queen won well on debut and is the one to beat. Favorita and Stuck on You look the main dangers. Quite a few that could improve to challenge.
Race 5 This looks the right race for Pack Leader. He is probably a bit better over further but has been only 5 lengths off the best milers at level weights in the gr1 races and way down in class here. Very open race if he does not win.
Race 6 Front and Centre on best form should win, but last couple of runs has been below best. Larentina and Pretty Young Thing are decent 3year olds and must be respected. Santa Clara also a bit below form last few but at best can pop up and gets a good draw. Golden Chance ideally distance suited and good recent form so should be right there from nice draw.
Freedom Charter also distance suited and a decent draw- we have been disappointed by her last two efforts but reportedly working well and if she bounces back to best is a big runner. Helen’s Ideal worst draw - if she can get to the front without too much trouble then can run in the money. If stuck out wide or forced to drop out is toast. Also working well and blinkers back on, so hopeful of a good run.
Race 7 Kasimir has not been quite as good this season as last year but still rates the one to beat this trip. Bold Respect will go close getting 2kg. Russet Air much improved recently and can win again. Chimichuri Run is a class sprinter and must be included.
Race 8 Viva Rio was my banker but now this race wide open. Sachdev and King of Gems have best form but a number of others that are on the up and can improve this trip. I don’t see any value in 2/1 Silver Host but good draw and Fourie has chosen him above Sachdev so must be respected. Super Silvano is 1.5kg better off with him for a 2 length beating so 10/1 looks decent ew value . Golden Ducat hard to assess but looks very progressive.
Race 9 Nippy Sweetie improved last time over ground as expected and must go close but there are quite a few others with chances. SilverTiara always in the mix as well as Halliberry. Northwest Passage improved last run and should not be as big as 14/1. Dancing Sword two fair sprints and should prefer this trip.
Our filly Blue Gangsta is slowly improving but worst draw here so no confidence.

WOW Joesph Barry was an unlucky loser, by far the best horse it that race, Purple Cloud stopped him in his tracks, then the bump before the line
