Perhaps the Hawk could enlighten us as to what was done to finally get growing a patch of grass in a tropical climate right? The years of cabbage patch need an explanation.

The short answer to that was moving the historic "spring" treatment in August & September to a "summer" treatment in January and February. This was implemented in 2018/19 and definitely appears to have made a hugely positive difference to the outcome.

I see the meeting scheduled for the 27th at Greyville has been cancelled, anyone know the reason for this?

Basically Friday night a very popular night out for many and keeping with government announcements, it would just cause extra security and possible frustrations for people trying to attend.

I personally think its a good call that GC are trying to manage.

You cant keep everyone happy but this is beyond anyones control.
