According to directive last race must be run by 16:45.

That will not be the case at the Vaal today.

Was thinking of the same thing the other day when there was a delay. The turf clubs should have the last race run at 4.00pm to factor in a delay such as a horse bolting, or a shoe replacement, etc.

I also agree "we" don't really want to upset the Government as they might just view it as arrogance and call to shut shop again.

Guessing has never been widely acclaimed as a good gambling strategy.
