Very few race meetings and crappy stakes but if u look at field sizes , trainers not to worried about racing for their owners.

total of 90 horses carded.

A few decades ago there used to be talk about Tvl/GP shutting down for a few weeks in August for scarifying, holidaying for most, a rest for the horses, and so on during very hard tracks.

Hard ground does contribute imo - so hopefully from Oct onwards we should see an increase in field size

Seeing that the Sales have been delayed (2yr Old Sale only in November I think), I wonder if the start of the Juvenile races will be delayed as well - if there is still money for Stakes by the start of next year .... :unsure:

after its last win,jock said the best 2 year old around.

RIVARINE
RUNNING BRAVE

are running. Pity no top quality horses are willing to run on such a terrible track

100 excuses for a 100 owners. The trainers how to guide on keeping a sap on the line.
