Hopefully this a regular thing..

I know we had a few people on here years ago wanting ABC to do podcasts, obviously with my accent and operation (and lack of knowledge) i`m not able to take part.. But it seems to be the in thing? What about a Friday night drinking session with THE CLAN :)

Born into the horse racing world with my father being a racehorse trainer in the Western Cape, horse racing was everything to me and from the ripe age of 5 years old I was already studying form taking bets on course and off course totes and all the tote operators knew me as Burroughs Junior, I also marked people’s racecards for R2 and would go into detail why a horse was the right horse in the race and how the conditions would suit it and so on. I learnt very young that horses were all individuals and every one of them had a stride of their own and also the conditions they were looking for as well as which pace would suit each horse and over which course and distance they were suited to. At the age of 11 telebets came into play and i took off school early to study my pick six for Durban ville, called it through on my land-line and won R11,000, I knew I had a skill and an eye for tipping winners and finding value and I followed results on a daily basis as well as watching racing replays every evening I got home, I would create a watch list for horses that caught my eye in a race, also for horses dropping in class and well above the handicapper and take full advantage of the value on offer. After my school career I worked for well known bloodstock agent and commentator Jehan Malherbe that saw my skills at a young age, I also worked as a bookmaker and then returned years later to work for Bloodstock SA and edit and produce all sales catalogues along with Jehan. At 23 years old I scooped a pick six at Scottsville that paid R1.1 Million and caught 40% which paid me out R440, 000 at Cafe De Ville in Table view and that was one of my highlites among many other successes punting. I have grown up to be a professional punter and also learnt how important it is to have patience and select your race meetings and bets carefully and also to know how to structure your exotics correctly and which legs to take a gamble and where to play wider looking for an outsider to boost the payout. I have a passion and a very good eye for horse racing and I would love for you to come on board and join me for many successes that lie ahead.
