Meydan Racing

Why do the tote seem to be obsessed with Meydan racing? Completely ruined the place accumulator quickmix by including three legs from this lottery venue in it. Can they please stick to the usual UK Ireland sa and maybe one Meydan venue. Didn't realize knowing the commentator meant we must force the venue in every bet imaginable. We already have Meydan exotics for people that wanted to have a lottery.

When does Meydan start? Are there still South Africans taking this blood soaked money?

The tote still think so. They're still living in the world where MDK had horses there and so it was all the rage. Muhtiman summed up very nicely what's happening here in reference to some other races, someone told the person that selects the bets that Meydan racing coverage should be maximized and now all they do is cover this at the expense of what punters actually bet on. Most of the pool on this races is commingled. I'd be surprised if SA punters like betting on this. You have no reliable guide. 100/1 horses win by miles. Odds on favourites off the bridle 200m after the jump. Get with the times.

.....now they got Ali and he still makes the better meetings at Meydan pretty attractive but I give the other tracks a miss.....kept my powder dry on the local dreg and having a bit of fun now....betting is not really a good guide there but gotta know the genetics and the players to have a squeak....PS I no longer wager with the tote so they are not getting any of my churnover....

Trainer gave Sadeedd a chance at being in the firing line in the last during an earlier interview for what it’s worth

Hope the tote doesn't repeat this again. Time will tell next Thursday.

Dubai racing, is made up of Carnival races, normally from January. Prior to that it is mostly local races and mainly on dirt if not all.

Meydan was always on Thursdays but from last year, it was moved to Saturday and Sundays. This year, it has Fridays as well and Jebel Ali has now moved to Saturdays tomorrow.

If you followed Dubai racing previously, then it might be easier. You can use attheraces.com for form study.

Abu Dhabi is definitely hard with the Arab breds but the thoroughbreds races you can get previous form

It definitely better than the 5 runner jump UK racing.

I will pick Irish racing anytime. Dundalk during the winter, is my favorite.

Naresh, you would agree with me when I say no average punter would follow racing from Meydan, off season, to the point that an odds on shot becomes a clear lay to them?
