Reminds me when I was playing under 14 football. We were not a good team and much to our surprise we reached the cup final. We were all very exited as we were going to play the final in a huge stadium. We could not stop talking about it

Then came the bombshell. We were the under 14b team. The A team lost their semi final and the club decided to pick the entire A team for the final. We were left devastated.

Some of us were substitutes for that final which ended in a 3-1 defeat, so in a way justice was served. I left the club after that season

Not a nice thing to do to anybody especially in AC case as he obviously has prepared for the event and must have really been looking forward to it.
