I must say Georgie and myself had a wonderful day at Turffontien yesterday.
Results were generally good and no financial damage.
The hospitality in the Bold Cherry room was excellent and thanks again to our waitress Tracey 😍
We also had an invite to the Betway box and it is very special and a stunning set up 👏
As far as the results
Pistol Pete and Almond Sea got the punters off to a flyer and hope the Sea is OK after looking rather distressed post race 🙏
We have been given a few conflicting stories 🤔 during the night .
However Bob has a picture of a happy horse this morning.
Would add that imo NHRA made another wrong call in the second race.
Mark Khan was a very popular winner and had a decent crowd cheering.
Tarry had his winner with Silver Hills but Striker rode a Humdinger on the Easy syndication horse.
Gimme A Nother kept her unbeaten record and is VERY special and the triple tiara is in the bag.
Sandringham Summit tried his best but the bookies would have been nervous if this one had arrived and put them back in the purple.
The Peter stable came to the front again with Main Defender with a massive reversal of form with Melech and even the star Princess Calla had no answer to his finishing burst.
The Habib brigade had the winners box buzzing with many movers and shakers leading in the winner.
The meeting ended with another Peter winner in the form of Judgement Day after our normal afternoon thunderstorm delayed proceedings.
On the subject of the well named Main Defender and Judgement Day, what ever happened to the NHRA saga ?
The new streaming TV has been given the thumbs up 👍

Next big focus for me is Cheltenham and I have a few atcs running after yesterday's results going into day one 💪 😉
Had a great day on Saturday, met up with Johno, Bugsy, Stergio , and Scotia and had a couple of drinks. Overall it was a fun day for most and luckily no damage was done on the day punting side. We sat outside on the deck and so had first class seats watching the winners being lead into the winning boxes .The Peter stable was on fire and the 2 babies in the second and third races were highly impressive. The rumors that were spread on the day was that the Peters horse Almond Sea died. We saw that the jockey did not return back to the no 1 box and the horse was being watered down. Gladly the horse is alive and well and whoever is spreading these rumors must be a bitter chap. We made a turn up to the Betway box for a visit and believe me it was 5 star plus well done guys you know how to entertain.
