One has to lift your hat to Daryll Maree - best form analyzer by a long way in my book - he had Play With Fire as a banker in his perms (admittedly acknowledged that this was a FIELD race, but took a chance) - I thought he was smoking his socks and did not include even in the PA - another lesson learnt as his selections can't be left out ....

I thought that Home of the Brave had a chance, but never even looked at Lava Fire - to be fair only carried 52.5 kgs against Confederate 60 kgs - both as 1-time winners - so one of those that is eay afterwards ....
