Check the replay for race 7 and watch Richard Fourie on Without Question.
If there ever was a ride where the jockey wanted to come 4th this is it.
Look how he plays the clown on the horse in the home stretch trying to fool us that the horse is going nowhere.
Then he actually starts riding the horse the final 200m into a fast finishing 4th.
If JP got a 6 month ban in Singapore for not riding the horse to it's best position,very questionable though,Fourie would have got a lifetime ban for that ride in Singapore.
Obviously riding to trainers instructions there.

The top jocks are a law unto themselves they do what they want it doesn't bother them
