TABGOLD

As HB not offering qtet bets on Ascot (except smaller fields) I decided to put money in my TABGOLD account... the first time in about 6 years.

How the hell does one place a bet ? I tried 2 rovers and 5 horses for R240... tried 20% R48 ... amount too small. I tried R72 ... amount too small. Tried a boxed trifecta 5 horses boxed full cost R60. Tried 50% .... amount too small ....WTF???

I see Hollywood has the quartet on the remaining races at Ascot now

What the hell is this? I played on the tote and caught it 100% ...... what is with the "carryover" crap? If nobody else caught it I get the R7000 pool right?

Race 3
Win 1 = R 4.10
Place 1 = R 2.20
Place 6 = R 2.50
Swinger 1/6 = R 3.00
Swinger 1/7 = R 11.30
Swinger 6/7 = R 13.60
Exacta 1/6 = R 16.90
Trifecta 1/6/7 = R 220.50
Quartet 1/6/7/4 = R 287.40
Quartet C/FWD = R 5245.25

Elmo, this was not a commingled pool...R7k ... tiny. Appears to be theft pure and simple.

I agree Magi ,but it's advertised as a fractional bet commingled pool so we fought this hard before ,we all know it's a South African pool but they tell us otherwise .I agree it appears theft of the last order .

Hi Bob
Hope that you are well.
Just to clarify on this thread, it looks like there were 2 venues being referenced, which may cause some confusion.
The Race 3 reference was not Ascot, but Chelmsford City, which did have a commingled Quartet pool.

How about Wetherby this evening, no tab results for race 4 for over 90 minutes. The jackpot will pays after 25 to 1 shot in first leg and 8 to 1 in second leg now suddenly shows the lowest will pay amount of all combinations.

What more proof of fiddling can anyone need to know that there's major fraud going on

Hi Bob,then Magi is correct in saying that the dividend should have been the Pool as it was not commingled.

" Unfortunately the commingled pools are the ones that cause this "visual" discrepancy, which is caused by currency conversions.
To get the whole pool, one would effectively have to take a full unit bet of £1 (approximately R24 per line) as an example."

So in effect (assuming I was the ONLY ZAR punter) on the international ( £ ) ...a measly £1100 was punted. Why bother with commingled pools?

But thanks for the feedback Bob
