We’ll all be hoping for a far more positive weekend for South African sport, after Ellis Park and the Dricus fight both ended in a Sound of Silence.
Last weekend, the 17-point handicap start for the Aussies landed nicely – but this weekend feels more of a tricky puzzle.
The World Champions are once again heavy favourites to win comfortably. Still, I feel there could be value in SA Half-Time / Australia Full-Time at 16/1, sticking with the trend of the Boks starting fast and the Wallabies finishing strong 💪.
Another angle worth considering: Australia/Australia at 11/2, if they come out firing as they did at the end of last week’s clash.

The big one: Newcastle to beat Liverpool, with some transfer tension adding extra spice to the encounter.

The outcome of the Putin–Trump exchange was a real shocker – effectively another Sound of Silence, with Ukraine left lacking the expected support 🇺🇦.

Turffontein (Saturday): Expect Craig Zackey to get punters off to a flying start.
