Black Path a 7 year old mare having her 46th start and racing off a merit rating of 51 after only winning once before that being on the 22nd December 2021 a grand 1344 days ago.
This was the trainers 1st winner since July 2024
Will need to pay closer attention to these lower merit rated hores in these stakes races.
This was a very weak race with MRs ranging from 51-64. The F&M get a sex allowance so no great surprise that the first 2 home were mares. If ever there was a “field” race for exotics this was it.
Wrench has a very small string of moderate horses in the most competitive racing centre, so his wins are few and far between but he gets a reasonable proportion of places.(30% last year)
