Race (

The majority of the field has not run since June and July, with the exceptions of Let It Be Said (August), Absolutely Yes (Sep) and Captain West (September). Of these Captain West has racing fitness on his side.Whilst the 3 year olds receive plenty weight from the top weighted horses, don’t believe they are well in here. They are not receiving the WFA allowance which we know from race 4 should be 8kgs.

From another angle, they are prepping for bigger races in the upcoming season so I don’t believe they will be cut in half to win here – not saying they can’t win, don’t think they will.The two who should fight this out is Sugar Mountain and Questioning. Questioning first, seems to enjoy the course, 4 from 4 and 3 from 3 course and distance. Fourie up speaks volumes. Drops in class. Sugar Mountain, trying for 4 on the bounce, never easy but is holding form. Appears the pace will be on, so from a decent draw, if handily positioned from the jump, he may run them down. Going to row in with Sugar Mountain.

Race1: Laydelay currently trading at 5/1 was just pipped last time and is good value.

Race6: The Futurist although being a 7yo has beat a useful sort in that of Otto Luyken who has run in feature races. The Futurist is currently trading at 7/1.

Race8: Outlaw king returns from a 62 day layoff and  is worth an each way at 12.5/1
 

Race 1 Ebisu strong favorite, but most horses are unexposed
Race 2 Eisteford strong favorite. I prefer One dance and a few 1st timers
Race 3 hcp maidens. YUK Primal something or another short favorite
Race 4 hcp maidens. YUK Delta pride short short fav. Stergio has a runner
Race 5 Corne orffer yet to ride a winner this seaosn has a ride on the favorite. poor field 3rd Maiden Race in the P6
Race 6 Call to unite won this race last year but very open field
Race 7 Princess of Gaul in my black book, but the yard not going so well in CPT. Swiatek for me
Race 8 Questioning won this race last year. Open race
Race 9 Beneath the clouds my bet for the day
Race 10 Terrible field. Gravity if the snaith runner fails
