So the competition are doing more for punters on 4Q meetings than 4Q are? Sounds about par for the course.
Its boys against men. These Oppenheimer funded chumps are slack.

Race 1 MDK horse very short. I thought much more open race. Dondoyaki wil prefer 1200m
Race 2 Geostorm is currently fav. Copper cliff owners very patient. Venniker rides
Race 3 Golden Aspen such an honest mare
Race 4 Flight of the condor my preference
Race 5 Dyce great to se him back. descent field for a midweek race at the vaal
Race 6 Palace Prince to short for me. goes of 1600m. Prefer Mastership
Race 7 only 6 runners left but still not convinced Page boy over 1800. Zoombomber one more chance
Race 8 Kiss of fire has been good recently. moderate field
Race 9 Boom boom to end off the day

Finally a 9-race card at the Vaal - outside rail is out, so the draw advantage could be towards the stand side ..... thoughts -
R1: Queen of Pearls all the rage, but I'm not convinced about the form of her debut - on the other hand the winner Fish Hawk was very impressive; Savara's Princess ran on nicely in what seemed a weakish field, but she has an outside draw, so could make the favorite run
R2: Shallow field, with some impressive siblings - but will they reproduce ? Geostorm at least has the outside draw, but not being backed as if the result is known; the Tarry horse made a moderate debut, but should improve, while Dyce's full brother Stoneywood has to cope with an inside draw; other runners are at 14/1; I do hold a candle for the 4yr-old Copper Cliff - he made a fair debut, but has since lost the plot, but coming of long break, may be able to reproduce his debut effort
R3: Favorite Gimmeforsure is drifting, but must have a chance; not an easy race to predict imo; Time for Charity has shown consistent form, while Micke's Bomb has the advantage at the weights; I do think Blindfire is better over 1000 and she is drawn on the inside; Misty Metal is weighted to beat Blindfire, but the jock is not inspiring any confidence
R4: Francilien has a lot going for her with Komati River - so these 2 should fight it out again; most of the rest could feature at best, but I do think that Mxoli should have had the choice from the Matchett runners
R5: The return of Dyce, whose form after returning from a break is impressive and has a lot of class - even though he might be even better with runs under the belt; Truth is finding support in the market, but might be better over 1200; Karate Kid has the inside draw, so imo does have his work cut out; have a look at Mover and Shaker and Dreamland for value selections
R6: Palace Prince all the rage, but imo no value; tries 1600 now and must be a question mark about his stamina; I think Mastership and Mount Darwin are in form and would not be push-overs
R7: Not a great field; Page Boy could improve, but I am including Full Go, whose last run in the soft can probably be ignored
R8: Arctic Silver has found the market support and does look hard to beat with the 4 kg claimer; have a look at the collateral form with Lava Lamp - so both the Bronkshorst runners Bold Action and Hopscotch have claims, with Kiss of Fire
R9: Open handicap; Dimako's Jet with Murray in the irons should be right there, but as an each-way I like Boom Boom who is well weighted with the 4 kg allowance
Enjoy
