This is a double edged sword - say they managed to load SIA and it ran unplaced, the argument would have been, surely the were red flags when the horse refused to load, now the backors have done their cash in cold blood. Pity horses can't talk.

Feel sorry for the JP and P6 players because the tote favourite was not sighted.

P6 and jpt agreed. What was more painful for me was  my p.a before r8 , I was in 24x.  Then I was out due to the new fav running out.

Last leg I treble up.

Granted p.a would not have paid 800 odd bucks

It's against the rules but never have I seen the stipes question a trainer for bringing a horse to the races not fit enough to give a good account of itself.
Unfit horses will make the form book look worthless.
Punters have to trust the trainer to have done enough work at home for the horse to run to its rating.
