Good morning to the Clan,
I must say, local results haven’t been kind to me lately — and African Pride’s double short head was a tough one to take. 😢
However, my Breeders’ Cup selections went brilliantly! Notable Speech was always the standout bet and the undeniable star of the show.
How good are the Irish trainers, though? 👏👌
Aidan O’Brien and Willie Mullins are absolute legends.
Let’s not forget the Melbourne Cup on Tuesday morning. Willie Mullins has Absurd, while Joseph O’Brien saddles Al Riffa — currently 8/1 despite the tricky draw. A pity it’s not ¼ the odds for a place, though!
I’ll be up early, as we’re heading to KZN to see the grandkids 😍 — they truly keep me breathing.
On that note, our local band Rock the Boat has an excellent song that fits the mood perfectly.
I’ve known Stuart for many years — a great performer from Dundee, and Wendy’s harmony gives the band something truly special.
