I will start by saying that both races have attracted top horses.
The rules for each race is complicated to say the least.
And also stake cheques watered down al the way to 8th place.

Race 2 and race 8 on the evening.

Race 2 Royal Victory and On My Honour stand out and in race 8 Cats Pyjamas
