Some top performances today
Race 3 Dawsons Anvil - that was quite a finish.
Race 4 BSC top win. William robertson top run. Greaterix better
Race 5 Almond sea ran on very strongly 2nd hlaf of race
Race 6 Kisshoten toughie tooth win. Mocha Blend very good run after dropping out at the top of straight
Race 7 Ultimate King nice win. Outisde of top 3 . rest should withdraw from Summer Cup

Now that all is said and done, and the Summer Cup prep runs are done...must be honest cant see anything besides King Pelles or the Equator win, Atticus Finch to be running on, but with too much weight and can fill third spot.
It is actually shocking how the Gauteng horses haven't really trained on, think the top 2 i mentioned here will only shorten in the three weeks to go
Gavin Lerena vs Smanga Khumalo in the final 100m of the race, which ever handles the soft conditions better wins, this will not be 2000m contest as indicated, it will be more like a 2200 to 2400m for sure.
