Stipes message
5 months 1 week ago
I'm posting for a friend who message a stipe on the weekend about a jockey's ride, this is the reply from the stipe In return.
Morning Sir.. I've watched and reviewed race 1 from yesterday.. I'm not sure what race you were watching but Murray tides his horse out to the finish.. Clearly talking from your pocket in this instance.
This is a professional man talking to someone that laid a complaint how do you answer someone like that unprofessional.

Put the race replay on here and let's see if the punter has a different view compared to the stipes.

Watched Murray race 1 CPT & JHB, both good rides. No, definitely not the way the NHRA should answer anyone. If accurate, there has to be action taken.
This is the problem at the NHRA. Everyone is worrying about the upcoming vote when the problem, in my opinion, lies with the management team and the execution of duties.

I assume the comment was wrt Turffontein. I think that your friend owes Callan Murray an apology.
His horse Seed Seeker has a ding dong battle with Tempranillo and gets the better of him, but gets snagged late by Zackey on Speedman. It may be fair to say that he was focusing on T on his outside and didn’t see the threat from S on his inside until too late, but he never stops riding and Speedman had the momentum. A perfectly timed ride by Zackey.
Kenilworth race 1 he was on first timer Sugar Daddy which ran a good race without ever looking like it had a winning chance, and beaten by the stable companion that had had the benefit of a run.

I think the stipe got it spot on.
Tell your mate to go get his eyes tested.
What interests me is how was the message delivered? If it was via whatsapp I'm pretty sure the answer received was in the stipes personal capacity. Nothing wrong with his answer which I can only assume hits a nerve.

This is my thoughts exactly, if you had someones personal number you can expect an off the cuff reply
Different if was messaged through an official channel!
This is why hiring people from the racing community bites your arse

I think that the message was written with a lack of information so impossible to give a balanced opinion.
